GROUNDING DAMAGES

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of H&M Underwriters of a 21,699 GT geared bulk carrier to inspect and advise on possible damages caused by bow contact with the quay wall during attempted berthing in a confined space with very shallow water. No visible damages were noted to the vessel or quay wall during inspection by our Engineers.
