MAIN ENGINE DAMAGE

Taylor Marine were instructed by Owners'  H&M Underwriters to investigate reports of damage sustained to a main engine bottom end bearing during the vessel’s passage to a UK port. Taylor Marine attended on board the vessel to investigate the cause of failure of the bottom end bearing, to survey the damage sustained as a result of the incident and to assess the extent of repair works required.
