GROUNDING OF RO/RO VESSEL

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of H&M Underwriters and Delay Risk Interests to ascertain the nature, cause and extent of damages sustained to the vessel following grounding and subsequent re-floating at Aberdeen.  Our engineers attended the vessel both at the grounding location and during dry-docking to view damages and to monitor the repair process.  Grounding of the vessel was found to be the result of human error.
