GENERAL AVERAGE DISPUTE

Taylor Marine were instructed by a leading London based law firm to provide expert assistance in a General Average (GA) dispute.  The dispute was in relation to a casualty incident that occurred when the vessel in question lost control of steering after leaving a port in North America destined for Europe.

Our Marine Engineers advised on the relevant disclosure documentation required in order to mitigate our client's losses and following substantial input, the case was successfully agreed at mediation in favour of our client's.
