ENGINE DAMAGE TO FISHING VESSEL

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of H&M Underwriters to observe the removal and stripping down of the engine of a fishing vessel which was found to be contaminated with debris including nuts and bolts during oil replenishment.  Our engineers attended the vessel to determine the extent of damages and to witness repair works, and subsequent running of the engine.  Contamination was suspected malicious damage by a disaffected former crew member.
