DAMAGE TO AUXILIARY ENGINE

Taylor Marine were appointed by Owner's of a container vessel to establish the cause of a reported high lubricating oil consumption by the auxiliary engine.  Our surveyors attended on board the vessel to inspect all major components removed from the engine as well as review all relevant associated documents, including recent service reports, whereupon it was found that a recent engine overhaul had been carried out incorrectly.
