DAMAGE TO TURBOCHARGER

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of Owners’ H&M Underwriters to investigate the nature, cause and extent of damage sustained to the main engine turbocharger of a double hulled chemical tanker. Our experts attended to inspect the turbocharger, following which the cause of damage was considered to be the result of a foreign object entering the water pipe.
