DAMAGE TO M/E COOLING WATER SYSTEM

Taylor Marine were appointed by Insurers of a dry-dock facility and instructed to attend a joint inspection following reports of damage to the Main Engine cooling water system pump of a tugboat.  Inspection found damages were caused by incorrect fitting of a cooling spool pipe by sub-contractors.
