It is with great delight that we can announce John’s successful completion of the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree with the Open University. As part of John’s University Dissertation work, he performed a failure investigation of a mechanical component that resulted in the head-on collision of a pleasure craft; this involved the use of a range of testing methods and optical microscopes which John is now proficient in using as investigative tools. John received a mark of distinction for his project work.

John will shortly be progressing towards his Master’s degree, which will see him further develop his knowledge of forensic investigation processes and analytical techniques, and we wish him every success in this next stage of his career with Taylor Marine.
