Whilst enroute to Jakarta, Indonesia on 30th August 2018, the 4,252+ teu container vessel "WAN HAI 502" ran aground after coming into contact with a coral reef.  Salvage operations were initiated under an LOF contract with General Average also being declared.

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of Salvors and attended on board the casualty throughout lightering operations and subsequent discharging in Singapore.
