YANTIAN EXPRESS

Taylor Marine (Liverpool) were appointed on behalf of Salvors following a major fire on board the 7,500+ TEU container vessel "Yantian Express".  Salvage operations were initiated under a Lloyds Open Form Contract with General Average declared.

Our specialist cargo surveyors assisted throughout the casualty operation and mobilised at the designated port of refuge in the Bahamas to monitor discharge operations and undertake subsequent joint survey of affected containers.
