Taylor Marine experts from Hamburg were appointed on behalf of Owners of a 14,000+ TEU container vessel, with Taylor Marine Liverpool instructed by General Average Adjusters, following a major fire which erupted in the aft section.  Our experts attended on board the vessel following subsequent berthing at Colombo and were heavily involved with the investigation into the cause of the fire, as well as continuous monitoring of the lengthy and complicated discharge operation and container surveys of affected units.
