Taylor Marine were retained by Charterers' P&I insurers of a 23,689 gross tonne bulk carrier to investigate reports of combustion of a bulk cargo carried on board. The vessel was attended by salvors, who escorted the casualty to a nearby port of refuge for off-loading of affected cargo.
