WETTING OF STEEL CARGO

Taylor Marine were appointed on behalf of the ship owner's P&I Club to ascertain the cause and extent of wet damage to steel cargo, following reports by cargo interests who alleged salt water contaimation within the ship's cargo hold.  Our Surveyors attended on board the vessel and found the cause of damage was due to a ballast leak in the cargo hold.
