SPILLAGE OF HFO

Taylor Marine were Instructed on behalf of vessel underwriters of an 8,000+ TEU container vessel following a reported leak of approximately 15 metric tonnes of HFO that occurred within the ship's engine room.  Arrangements were made for survey and attendance on board the vessel to investigate the cause and extent of the spill, as well as to monitor clean-up operations.
